Forty help

Support

Practical help for purchases, privacy choices, local progress, and common iOS issues.

Restore a purchase

To restore an annual or lifetime purchase, choose Restore Purchasesfrom the paywall or Forty Settings while signed in to the Apple Account used for the original purchase. Apple and RevenueCat then check for eligible premium access.

Restore Purchases restores access only. There is no Forty account, no cloud backup, and no cross-device progress sync, so it cannot restore local check-ins, notes, history, or program progress from another device or a deleted installation.

Cancel a subscription or request a refund

Apple manages App Store billing. Follow the Apple subscription cancellation instructions to cancel an Apple subscription. Deleting Forty or deleting local data does not cancel your subscription.

Refund decisions are made by Apple. Follow the Apple refund request instructions to request a refund for an eligible App Store purchase.

Understand trial eligibility

The annual product may include a three-day introductory trial for eligible users. Apple determines trial eligibility from your App Store account and offer history. The Apple purchase screen is authoritative; not every user receives a trial.

Delete local data or disable analytics

In Forty Settings, use the local-data deletion control to delete local Forty data, including program records stored on that iPhone. This cannot be undone. Deleting local data does not cancel an Apple subscription and does not remove Apple or RevenueCat purchase records.

You can also opt out of future optional anonymous product analytics in Forty Settings. This does not affect purchase restoration, essential entitlement checks, or information already processed in aggregate form.

Find your purchase support identifier

Forty Settings displays an anonymous RevenueCat support identifier. Include it only when contacting us about a purchase or Restore Purchases problem. It helps locate anonymous entitlement information; it is not a Forty username and does not provide access to your local recovery content.

Troubleshoot offline content

Core program content already included in the installed app can work offline. Purchase checks, restoration, external links, or newly delivered app content may need a connection. If content does not appear, reconnect to the internet, reopen Forty, confirm premium access, and install the latest App Store version before contacting support.

Troubleshoot notifications

Check that reminders are enabled in Forty Settings and that notifications are allowed in iOS Settings for Forty. Focus modes, notification summaries, Low Power Mode, and device-level scheduling can affect delivery. Forty cannot override iOS notification controls.

Contact support safely

Email marcuscadasse@gmail.com with a concise description of the issue and the app version and iOS version when relevant. Include the anonymous RevenueCat support identifier only for purchase issues.

Do not include recovery notes, onboarding answers, sexual content, passwords, payment-card details, Apple credentials, or other highly sensitive information.
